U12 -14| 5th -7th Grade

Competition & Travel

At this level boys and girls are separated to form their own teams.  The U12 compete against other towns and clubs and travel to neighboring towns. For the 2023 Fall Season,  players with birth years of 2011 -2013 or who are in 5th or 6th should register at the U12 level.  Players who are in 6th Grade might not qualify for the Premier Team due to age restrictions. Players with birth years of 2009-2010 should register at U14 and they will play games mainly at Tree Farms in Essex where there are older teams for them to play against.

Training Sessions

Coaches will be evaluating players during the first week of practice in order to create evenly matched teams. These sessions will also be used for coaches to assess those that meet the standards for the Premier Team.

Club Teams

We are an all-inclusive Club—whoever wants to play, plays, with proper registration. All registered players play at the club level. Coaches try their best to give equal playing time to all players at the club level. Club Teams will participate in the Morrisville Soccer League (www.morrisvilleyouthsoccer.com).

League matches are held on Saturdays in Fletcher, Cambridge, Westford, Hyde Park, Johnson, Eden, Morrisville, and Stowe. Club Teams may schedule additional matches later in the season during regularly scheduled training sessions against other area teams. Club Teams will participate in one tournament—The Cambridge Tournament, where teams play three 30 minute matches.

Premier Teams

This team will be comprised of players from the Club that want to play at a higher level; and display the skills, leadership, and sportsmanship that is expected at this level of play. Players MUST play according to their birth year. This level requires a bigger commitment from players & families. There will often be an additional practice every week. Premier teams will participate in the Vermont Soccer League (www.vermontsoccer.org). All matches are played on Sundays at the Tree Farm Complex in Essex Junction, Vermont and attendance for games and practices is mandatory. Premier teams have the option of participating in tournaments for additional fees.
